I'm still in the process of beating the meatball, because wow it is tough. The game looks and feels amazingly great, and smooth. Its 100% one of the best games I've played feeling wise. I'm looking for a bit of help from you with making my own game. I've tried contacting you on discord but your username doesn't seem to work, so I'm am wondering if you have changed it at all. My username is mediocre_guy._ So please message me there and we can talk properly.
The game turned out really well, you're a great artist! I'd like you to help me create a game. Do you have any social networks where we can talk better?
My discord is jackrobotham_27530, send me a message!
Just be aware; I didn't make (much) of the actual art for this game, so if you're looking for an artist specifically I can only direct you to particular artists.
And I'm pretty busy at the moment so if we do work on something it might take a while. At the very least, though, I'd love to help you plan it out!
It's listed on the jam submission page, but I'll put it here as well:
Most sprites- backgrounds, enemies, character, tiles, and effects- taken from itch.io (Ansiumz, Papoy Core, Penusbmic, Untied Games, Dead Revolver, RPG Pixel, Frostwindz).
Other sprites by me (most projectiles, lasers, eyes, glass texture and reflection, etc). I also made the fleshball sprite.
Awesome, thanks! You've got a good eye to be able to piece together so many different artists into one coherent style. The backgrounds are really stunning.
Thank you! The backgrounds are by Ansiumz, although I added a shader to create a slightly wavy effect, which made the whole scene feel much more alive.
Great game!!! The meatball was easy for me, I had plenty of practice with the Cannonbalrog from ETG. But, the Terminus was so FUN! I didn't expect the scene changing, and I appreciate the lasers (kind of like the Sans fight from Undertale)
But it's real! I made like 20 tries to beat the meatball, but God was defeated on sekond try. I think that good upgrade line is very important. Btw, i got more bow damage and homing
Yeah, there's definitely a few ways to get much higher DPS than in the first fight. The balancing could probably be improved, but... time limits and such :)

That's strange that my discord didn't work! I've sent you a friend request.

Who did the art?

Very good pixel art! The patterns are impressive! Beautiful music! Good difficulty! What more could I ask for?
Thanks! I'm really glad you enjoyed it. The music is by John Leon, check out their page here: https://electropunkzero.itch.io/
😁
This is veeery good! Actually, the meatball was harder than God.
*Terraria flashbacks*
Not gonna lie, "Actually, the meatball was harder than God" made me laugh :D
